How Did Martin Luther King Jr Change The World

Martin Luther king jr was man who changed the world still to this day. He lost his life in Memphis ,Tn. He was shot dead out of his hotel on April 4, 1968. I believe he lost his life trying to better the world by making black and white come together. He played a key role in the civil rights movement in the 1960 s . He was born on January 15, 1929, in Atlanta,Ga. His father was name Martin Luther King Sr. and he was a minister at the Ebenezer Baptist Church . At the age of fifteen Martin Luther king jr went to college at Moorehouse university. He graduated from there in the year of 1948 and follow his father's footsteps to become a minister. Later on in life he met this beautiful lady by the name of Corretta Scott and they got married in 1953 while doing work at Boston graduate school. In their wonder life they had 4 children. Him and his wife was together until his death . In 1955 his finish his degree and got his PHD. By this time he join the civil rights and became a well known activist who was determine to get rid of discrimination and to remove the unfair segregation law in the south. Martin Luther King deliver one of the best speeeches in history known as “I have a dream.” It was inspiring to many African Americans. Later Martin Luther king led a protest against the buses ,after a woman by the name of Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give her seat up to a white person on the bus. He was a very good and power speaker who was smart and knew how to lead protests, he also got many people involved. He help us the way equal rights between races is today.
