How Did Martin Luther King Influence The World

“I don’t want anybody to call me a coward.” (King) This quote means that King is a strong leader and he didn’t want anyone to take him for granted, he says what he means and means what he says. Martin Luther King’s leadership and courage, he served as a great historic leader to help stop segregation between black and whites and showed that he cared about people. Also his words of wisdom helped to show the world true meaning of what he was trying to say. Martin Luther King showed how he influenced the world in a good way, by stopping segregated buses, protesting, and saying an “I Have a Dream” speech. His trial and error really served as the base of our future and making it greater than it already is. Life today has really changed the way that people think of Martin Luther King, and some people believe that he was really brave and courageous. Even though there were tough times that he faced and the other blacks they managed to not stop fighting for their rights. King became more famous at this time. King was a phenomenal speaker and was known all over the world for his great bravery. In 1963 his “I Have a Dream” speech was given to more than 200,000 people. His speeches and his work led to the Civil Rights act of 1964 which prohibited segregation. He also received a Nobel Peace Prize for his amazing work and determination. One of his famous quotes are “We must learn to live together as brothers or we will perish as fools.” The meaning of the quote is that we should work together, and do our best or we will become useless. King showed how his determination and mind set can change the lives of other people. He never focused on anything that wasn’t important to him or how other people made fun of him, he knows that he was doing the right
