He was born on the 15th of January 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia and was assassination on 4 April 1968. He went to Booker T. Washington High School and skipped two years due to the fact that he was so smart. He then graduated college from Morehouse in 1948 and got a divinity degree from Crozer Seminary and then got his doctor's degree from Boston University.

Before Martin.L.K America was a very racist place for African Americans to live as they were very underprivileged and had no laws protecting them when it came legal matters. In Alabama a law was emplaced to stop white nurses from having to work with coloured men that were being treated in hospitals, either public or private, in which they are placed.
As well as that there was a law in North Carolina which stated that the books used by white people were not to be used by coloured people and vis versa. In todays world this kind of racism is not tolerated towards anyone of any race, colour or religion but in throughs day it was considered normal and the only people who care where the coloured people who's lives where being affected by these laws. Some of the laws are just ridiculous like how white and coloured people not allowed to us the same toilets and water well. It just blows my mind that people were so prejudiced to the point of absurdity.
