There were many challenges that were thrown at them, such as the Temple Bombing, the freedom ride attacks (in which people were riding the bus integrated and people would attack the buses), the Birmingham Bombing, and many more; however, no matter how down they felt--they kept their peace, and kept moving forward with the campaign.
