How Did Leonardo Da Vinci Influence The Renaissance

After the long dark middle ages there came a time of revival; or a term used often “rebirth” of education, literature and art. This time is known as the Renaissance Era. Many great minds during the renaissance era demonstrate what the renaissance was all about, and how humanism and this time of rebirth still hold an impact on our history today. Raphael, Pontormo, Peter Paul Rubens, Antonio da Correggio, and Bernardino Lunini all amazing renaissance painters; also all influenced by the art works of Leonardo da vinci. Not only was Leonardo an artist, but also an inventor/engineer, architect and scientist. Leonardo Da Vinci typifies the idea of being one of the most intelligent minds in the renaissance era, known as the Renaissance man and master in everything that he did. Leonardo was born in 1452, raised by his father and stepmothers. At a very young age was an apprentice for an artist named Verrocchio who was very successful at the time, Da Vinci learned from other artists while at Verrocchio’s workshop such as Botticelli Ghirlandaio and Lorenzo Di Credi.
