One of Leonardo’s last artwork was a Mechanical lion that could walk and open its chest to reveal a bouquet of lilies. He made a huge impact on society after he died. One of his many contributions was that he started the Scientific Revolution. He changed the way scientists have researched since his death. A lot of his work in the many fields he worked and his scientific method has motivated scientists for many years to come. When he died, he left his sketches behind, such as airplanes and submarines. In his later years, most of his time was spent on scientific studies. Currently fewer than two-dozen of his paintings still exist. Leonardo has affected our lives today in many ways even though some of his work wasn’t completed. For example, his designs for a canal to link up two rivers that would have made a water route from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean
