How Did Leonardo Da Vinci Change The World

Leonardo Da Vinci was a world-changing genius of the Renaissance period. This man changed art forever with his unique painting style and his relaxed portraits. Da Vinci was also a world renowned scientist, who studied anything and everything he could, inventing and sketching machines that we use today, and learning about human anatomy and nature. Leonardo was a one of kind man, who pioneered some machines we use today and some scientific ideas that we still study. The early life of Leonardo da Vinci would surprise you, knowing he created flying machines and that he was a great mathematician. Da Vinci was born in 1452 during the Renaissance period in the town of Vinci in Italy (Koestler Rachel, Pages 8-20). He was born out of wedlock to a young lawyer and a poor mother (Koestler Rache, Pages 8-20). He had half brothers and sisters because his parents both married other people, so he never had a true father figure. He was always with his grandfather or uncle. This picture was such a big deal because he was said to have captured humanism in a painting, by using light colors the create life-like features, he had made a first of its kind painting.
