Analysis My focus question for this essay is, how does Joan Of Arc still play an inspirational role in society today Joan Of Arc’s childhood and early life started in a village in France . Joan Of Arc’s traveled to a couple places during her life. Joan never thought her beliefs would lead her to trial and who she is known as today. Joan Of Arc was a woman who was wrongly convicted for standing up for her beliefs, she had an easygoing childhood as a peasant and traveled a lot. She is now known as a role model to many. Joan Of Arc started her life as a simple peasant girl. She didn't always know who she was going to be. Joan lived in a village named Domrémy. Her mother followed Catholic religion has she did. Joan didn't know how to read or write. At age 13 she started having religious visions and hear voices which were angels. 3 years later, after a lot of hard work to get King Charles VII to help

Though she was seen as the devil to the English she continued to stand by her beliefs. 20 years after she was burned at the stake her charges were dropped. She is now admired by patriots, Women's rights organizations and people who study the supernatural. She is even thought to be clairvoyant meaning she had knowledge of the future.
