One of his achievements was becoming the top mathematics professor at Cambridge University, he was part of the Royal Society and was was given the title of “Master of the Mint” at the Royal Mint when he was leaving Cambridge for London. Later on he moved up to president of the Royal Mint, which later on led him to be knighted, becoming Sir Isaac Newton. He participated in different activities in London such as watching and catching criminals while being in disguise. Newton took the role in London to heart, but it lead Newton into ending his science career. Newton was also named a Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge and had a seat in Parliament. He became the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics, a role he was in until he resigned several years later. Newton is considered the inventor of calculus because of all of his accomplishments and contributions towards the subject. Newton even had the honor of being the first scientist to be buried and honored in Westminster
