Henry Ford, oldest of six children, was born on July 30, 1863 to William and Mary Ford (American). He was born in a town that was established just 30 years before his birth, Greenfield Township, Michigan. Henry, interestingly enough, was not born in a hospital, but instead at his family’s farmland specifically in a barn. Just like most kids, Henry attended school during the day, but he only attended until age 15. From the start, Henry Ford was not interested in helping his family with the farm, but rather was intrigued by machinery. At age 16, Henry Ford departed from his family and followed his interest in machinery to Detroit, Michigan. In the book the people of the society are created on an assembly line. The people who work in the Central London Hatchery and Conditioning Centre all have their own jobs just like an assembly line. They each contribute to help mass-produce people in this society. Also in the book Henry Ford is seen as “God” in the society society.
