How Henry Ford changed the world for the better. Henry Ford truly changed the world for the better. Henry Ford is the creator of the Ford Motor Company. He Helped change the world by making cars affordable, using a moving assembly line, and by building different types of cars. All of this made the world a better place.
Henry made cars more affordable by first raising the pay in his company to $5 per hour. In raising the wages in his company he created a basic middle class. So with the middle class he also was still think how to make cars cheaper. His main thought was to make cars faster so he would have a more car per people’s wage ratio. Henry then sponsored a moving assembly line. The assembly line raised his cars per people’s wage ratio which made cars cheaper. Infact it made cars go from $800 to $300 dollars. That is one of the reasons the model-T was so popular. The model-T was built for 19 years and it was built on an assembly line for 14 years. Although the model-T was popular it was not Henry's first built car. The first car Henry built was the Quadricycle which was made in a shed that had to have the door widened to get it out. The Quadricycle was built in 1896 with the tires off bicycles. The vehicle had no reverse and didn’t have a steering wheel instead it had a tiller like a boat. The next car that was after the Quadricycle was the model-N and after that was the model-T which was the best selling car from 1908 - 1927. The Ford model-T was an affordable car with three different models. There was a two seater, five seater, and the seven seater. After the model-T ford made lots of other cars but the vehicle he made that stands out was the Ford Tri Motor Plane. The plane was one of the first planes used by international airports.
