If Germany had not been suffering so much, Hitler would have had a much harder time coming into power because Germans would have believed in their current government (Burnstein 1). Many people were either directly involved with the Nazi party or were brought in fairly close contact with them (Nazi Criminality 1). Adolf Hitler is said to not be solely responsible for forming the Nazi party that was in charge of Germany, which would make him not solely responsible for what he did (Fuhrer Order 1).…

However, it was the Red Army 's participation since 1941, which played by far the most notable and crucial role in the defeat of the Nazis, nevertheless it would have not been able to accomplish this without the help of the US, and the catalystic miscalculations of Hitler 's Nazi Germany. One of the main reasons for the Allied powers winning the war, was the number of critical miscalculations which Hitler had made throughout it, which led the the acceleration of the Allied victory. One of the greatest examples of this was during the battle of Britain, in 19402, when Hitler miscalculated the force of the RAF, which…

Antisemitism is a term created soon after World War II, referring to the prejudice and hatred of Jews. On December 7, 1941, one of the U. S’s worst military losses was recorded into history with the attack of Pearl harbor. Noted as “a date which will live in infamy” by President Franklin Roosevelt, it is considered to be the “straw that broke the camel’s back” when it came to deciding whether the U.S would go to war or not. It is also considered to be the reason why the U.S began its hastily production of nuclear weapons. The attack on pearl harbor was what ultimately lead the U.S into World War 2 after months of declaring neutrality and isolation. Thanks to Japan’s carefully planned aerial strikes on Pearl harbour, they were able to unmobilize the american troops and unleash an attack that caused mass destruction.…

World War II officially began on September 1st, 1939 when Germany invaded Poland, but the United States didn 't join the war until Japan 's attack on Pearl Harbor on December 11th (Pearson, 684). Prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor, the United States Congress passed the Neutrality Acts, which restricted trade with nations at war, this act was created to keep the U.S. out of the war that didn 't directly affect the country. One of the policies of the Neutrality Acts was "cash and carry", this policy allowed a warring nation to purchase non-war related goods as long as the goods were paid for in cash and were carried by their own ship (Pearson, 687). Most people do not realize how close Hitler actually was to winning World War II. They assume that it was a quick and easy win for the Allied forces. What really in fact won the war for the Allies was the drastic mistakes Hitler himself made by always seeming to place his ideology before all strategic decisions. Hitler 's self centered personality led his decisions in Britain, Russia, and even in Germany to prove fatal to Germany 's war effort.…
