The American Revolution began in 1775.But only after years of problems between the British and the Americans. The war was fought between the 13 British colonies (Americans) and the British. Other countries gave there support as much as they could by donating weapons some military support and money; all of these things helped the colonies gave experience with firearms and money to buy or make more it was also a symbol of hope to the colonist’s. George Washington led the American Army. Nobody thought that the Americans would win because the were just separate armies from each colony trying to gain there freedom from Britain.
