How Did George Die

I can’t believe he’s actually gone. My loving, wonderful husband, has just died. He died just one week ago. I was right by his side when he died. He died slowly, and then all at once. It was so cold. His body just couldn’t make it through, because he had not eaten anything in over 2 weeks. He did not think it was right to eat other people no matter how desperate. He was a good man, husband and father. I was just devastated, I cried for hours. My children, however, helped me stay strong because they were sad but they didn’t give up and wanted to continue. They left before George died. I didn’t want to leave his side, which is why I didn’t go with the rest of them. He really was the best thing that ever happened to me.
I was a lonely school teacher who had never been married. I came to Missouri to help take care of my brother’s children whose wife had just recently died. I met George Donner who also had children and no wife to take care of them. George was a wealthy farmer. He owned two farms, one in Illinois and one in Missouri. Out of my five daughters, three passed away. Two made it through I believe when a rescue party came along. The three died before George. I hadn’t known them for too long but I loved them a lot. George hadn’t even known that the 3rd child died. He was so sick and about to die himself. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that another one passed. That would have made his day a lot worse. He died later that day. After George passed, I tried to move on. It was just so hard because I was alone except for one other man in the party who had gone crazy. I had to grieve by myself. All of the others have either died, or been rescued. Mr. Reed and his family went

George made the right decision by shooting Lennie Because. George did not want Lennie to suffer for what curly had in store for him so think of Lennie death as a mercy kill fast and less suffering also if George wouldn't have shot Lennie he could get tortured in many different ways. But most people say that George and Lennie should have run away instead of killing Lennie. My first reason that George should have taken Lennie life is that first of all. If Lennie had tried to escape with George both of the men would be considered wanted so it would be hard to have any type of job or place to live because their reputation would be murderers, But George thought that running away would be a bad idea so he did not want Lennie to deal with all this so he took his life.…
