How Did Ferdinand Changed Spain

Ferdinand II, the king of Spain, was born on March 10, 1452. He was king of Aragon and king of Castile. He started the entrance of Spain into the time of royal extension. He gather Spanish kingdoms and into the country of Spain. Isabella of Castile, the queen of Spain, was born on October 18, 1469. Her marriage with Ferdinand of Aragon helped Spain become stronger, more powerful, and more successful. Ferdinand of Aragon and Isabella of Castile union brought their kingdoms together. The union of their kingdoms formed the Kingdom of Spain which made it into a more powerful country. They knew how significant their union was for Spain. If it was not because of the union they decided to make Spain would not be where it is now. They were given the name “The Catholic” by the pope because of their dedication of making Spain into a Christianity country. Ferdinand and Isabella are important in European history primary because they reformed Spain. They changed Spain into a more unified and governed country. They made Spain into a Christianity environment. It was not easy for them to make it into a Christianity environment because there were many Muslims and Jews that did not want to accept. Ferdinand and Isabella did not give up and they did accomplish to make Spain into a Christianity country. Also, they are important in history because they supported Christopher Columbus in his journey.
