In the story “Fahrenheit 451”, the character in this story name Montag has changed. There were different things that Montag did that he changed himself in the story. He was told to burn books without knowing why and how could book be bad. As the story continued, many more things change for Montag that he completely changed a lot more. Here is how Montag changed in the story “fahrenheit 451”.

In the beginning of the story, Montag is a thirty year old guy from the 24th century. He has been a fireman for ten years putting out fire but His job is now became the burn the house with the books instead of saving people. He also a protagonist in this story. Montag realized that his house is going to be burned after he was exposed that he had books and his wife Millie set the fire alarm.Captain Beatty was forcing Montag to burn his house and Montag refuse. Captain Beatty taunted him more and Montag set Captain Beatty on fire and he escaped. He was one of the people who memorized books since then he had talked to Faber about the last copy of the bible. As he escaped from the people that was at his house, he had saved some books that he has left with him, He left some books in his backyard and his wife Millie burned most of the books and missed some and left. Also at that time, Montag had to face two choices and his two choices was neither to cross the boulevard in order to get to Faber or face certain execution in a matter of minutes. After he decided his choice, Montag made his last stop to one of his fellow fireman name Black and montag hid some books in Black’s kitchen so that Black’s home gets burned. since Montag escaped from the incident, Montag had caused a war. Montag was the target to get captured and burned. Montag was still doing his plan and escaping both at the same time. Montag believes that he will survive from the great danger that he caused and so he kept doing what he is doing to do succeed
