How Did England Come To America

England coming over to America was a new experience for them; however, there were other immigrant groups there before the English. There were the Native Americans and the Spaniards, and they were all fighting for land in order to make more plantations meaning more money. England ended up going to war with the Natives and the French called the French and Indian War that lasted seven years until the it ended with the English winning and the creation of the Treaty of Paris, forcing borders between everyone’s land. With the Treaty of Paris, it created an imaginary line separating the British and the Natives making them to move out of their original territory more towards the west. War is expensive, and Britain say this was as a lost for the colonists making them pay for it. The colonists didn’t feel the fairness behind this reasoning, so they protest against Britain for the taxations. After contemplating on what to do, the colonists decided they wanted a democracy where everyone’s voice matters instead of being ruled by their mother country, Britain. They felt they needed more independence resulting the colonists to go to war with Britain, causing the Revolutionary War. After eight years and many deaths, it came to an end where the colonists defeated England. No one saw that coming, especially since England had more money, but the colonists had a heart to fight which is what matters. With the victory, Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence to ensure everyone’s right for independence, and this was signed on July 4, 1776. In the beginning, when Trump stated he was running for president and spoke his views about immigrants. That’s when everyone started up rising, make memes, and getting more into politics. This was all a joke until as days past, Trump has been more serious about trying to be president and winning the position to be the republican nominee. Also, when Hillary said she was running again, I felt a part of me wanting her to win because of the bravery for trying to run again and because she is a female. We haven’t heard her positions on her ideas for America, but if I see a woman as the president of the United States, the feelings I would feel is empowering since equality is very important to me, and for a woman to be elected to have so much power breaks down stereotypes about women. Once she was announced as the democratic nominee, I was hopeful that she will win. In the end, Trump ends up winning.
