His campaign was invincible to the controversies of his mystery tax forms, to the revelation of 15 accusations of sexual misconduct and to alluding to the assassination of Hillary Clinton when any other candidate likely would have been destroyed by it. He did so by distracting the public with entertaining, though not necessarily important news. Just recently, for example, while President Trump was passing Executive Orders in his first week of his presidency, he effectively distracted the media and many Americans by creating empty controversy about the size of the crowd at his inauguration. Meanwhile, President Trump sign an Executive Order mandating the construction of a wall at the US-Mexican border and asking for the repeal of the Affordable Care Act—both came into being with much less attention than they would have if people were not preoccupied with Trump’s inauguration…

Donald Trump was an unexpected runner for this year’s presidential election. At first, many people thought his running for the presidency was a joke. Unfortunately, as time went on, what many thought to be a joke suddenly became more serious as more and more people began to show him support and he shows no sign of dropping out anytime soon. Which is unfortunate since much of what he says is far from being presidential, let alone professional. From what I’ve seen of his speeches and debates, he often makes terrible statements about other candidates as well as other groups of people, building off of peoples hate to rally more support.…
