How Did David Beckham Affect The World

In just one second, everything can change, so people can imagine what a change 83 years can make. Furthermore, a variety of events happened in 1892 including first successful auroral photograph made, University of Chicago opened, the Pledge of Allegiance was written and J.R.R. Tolkien was born. In 1975, Microsoft was created, Jaws was filmed, the Vietnam War ended and, well, David Beckham was born. Just 83 years apart, the world went from taking photographs to creating films, and even went from J.R.R. Tolkien, a historical figure who played a significant role in fictional books, to David Beckham, a historical figure in sports. J.R.R. Tolkien and David Beckham have both affected the world, however, how they got there and their experiences throughout their lives are very different. First, John Ronald Reuel Tolkien, who goes by J.R.R. Tolkien, was born January 3, 1892 in Bloemfontein, South Africa to Arthur and Mabel Tolkien (“J.R.R Tolkien Biography”). J.R.R. Tolkien’s father died in 1896 and his mother died in 1904. After his mother passed away, a Catholic Priest assumed guardianship of both him and his brother, Hilary, in Birmingham in 1904 (“J.R.R. Tolkien and David Beckham seem to have nothing in common besides that they both are both British men that were living on planet Earth. However, these two men led exceptionally similar lives. J.R.R. Tolkien got married on March 22, 1916 to Edith Bratt, while David Beckham got married on July 4, 1999 to Victoria Adams. These two men got married 83 years apart when they were both 24 years old. The next similarity would be another coincidence. J.R.R. Tolkien and Edith Bratt had three sons and a daughter. While David Beckham and Victoria Adams also had three sons and a daughter. Both of these men had the same amount of children thus far. In conclusion, J.R.R. Tolkien and David Beckham coincidentally led rather similar
