How Did Christopher Columbus

Christopher columbus was an Italian explorer who was born in 1451. The birth of Christopher was the gateway of the cultures we have came to know today. You may have learned about him in your history classes in middle school or in your bedtime story books. “Christopher Columbus sailed the oceans blue when? In 1492.” You can see that question on television, on cereal boxes in the grocery store, everywhere. It is a common thing that us Americans see and know today. Could this common fact we know could have changed if he had the technology that we have. These men worked by candle light, sailing the oceans with a sail tied to their boat, only going when the wind took off. Just think what if they had the technology that we have today. Would their journey be different? Would they have landed somewhere else? And if they did have the technology we have today just think how that would change the way that we might live. Most people suffered from smallpox and influenza and ended up dying at sea. People what most people don’t know is that they also suffered severe vitamin C deficiency. Back in the fourteen hundreds they didn’t have the medical care like we do now. All the medical technology that we can execute a plain and cure the people that we need to even if they have no chance of living.
