This movie was about an eight year old boy, by the name of Bruno, who leaves his comfortable home in Berlin and all of his friends to move to a new residence because his father had been promoted to commandment of the Auschwitz prison camp. From Bruno’s room, he discovers a farm with people wearing striped pajamas. Unhappy and alone, he explores the back of the house and finds a Jewish boy of his age, named Shmuel trapped inside of the farm. They become friends and have occasional visits with each other.
