How Did Benjamin Martin Decided To Move His Family In Charlestown?

In 1776, Benjamin Martin decided to move his family to live with their aunt in Charlestown because he wanted a better place for his family to live. Once they got settled with their aunt, there was a very big meeting that went on and did not go in Martin’s favor. Benjamin wanted to find alternative ways instead of going to the war with the British. Once the meeting was over, Martin’s oldest, Gabriel, was in the line to sign up to fight in war. Benjamin was opposing this decision on behalf of Gabriel but Gabriel insisted to go and fight. Once Gabriel went to war he wrote and one day we came back and his family did not know. Many soldiers were wounded so the Martin’s decided to make their own little make-shift care place. When Col. William Tavington found out this was going on he was very against this act. Benjamin argued with Col. William Tavington and he threatened to shoot him because he was trying to save his son, Gabriel, from being hung and he threatened to shoot his kids and family. The Col. William Tavington was going to shoot Gabriel but then Thomas, another son of Benjamin’s, jumped in front of the bullet and he was the one to die. After a while the Martin’s decided to move into their aunts plantation to be safer. Once they were settled in for a while Benjamin decided to take his two sons and kill some of the British soldiers. Because the British did not know who had killed the British soldiers they called him the ghost. That lead to Martin starting his own mallisia. He had several men join and they killed several soldiers. After time, the British soldiers decided to call a village “meeting” for Martin’s village but they ended up killing everyone by burning it down. Gabriel was furious because they had killed the love of his life,
