He became a member of the Pennsylvania militia when he was forty-two. It was at this time that Benjamin found his interest or rather curiosity towards electricity and began to investigate the properties and experimenting with electricity. Einstein was born on March 14 in Ulm, Württemberg Germany in 1879. He had speech problems as well as difficulties with non-musical subjects in school when he was younger. He had a family friend that was a Polish medical student as a mentor and went to the school Luitpold Gymnasium in Munich. His family moved to Milan in Italy during the mid-1980s after the father lost the family business on account of a major contract. When Albert became of age he dodged the draft by allegedly withdrawing his classes and having a doctor’s note for the claim of nervous exhaustion. After, he rejoined his family in Milan, Italy even though his parents were skeptical of Albert being a high school dropout and a draft dodger. He then gained admission into the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich mostly because of his exquisite mathematics and physics scores on the entrance exam ("Albert Einstein Biography." Bio.com.
