Barton S. Tibbits and I were hanging out one day. We were just playing truth or dare, when I dared him to build an opera house!
“I accept the dare,Mr.lewis” said Barton.
We planned to build it together. I then dropped out because i decided i wanted to build an art gallery instead. Barton continued with the plan tho. He spent a total of $25,000 on the theater.
The opening night was September 21, 1882. It was a huge success, many people came and enjoyed it. I went and it was full!
“I told you Lewis, look at the audience! I am so happy you made me do this dare. It's a huge success.” said Barton
