President Obama’s Hypocrisy President Barack Hussein Obama is the forty fourth president of the United States elected in 2008 and he is the first president, under the constitution, of African descent. He worked his way up from the Illinois State Senate to the US Senate and was officially sworn in as president on January 20, 2009. Given his background in politics, logically, people assumed that he was a responsible, trustworthy candidate for president; however, his actions prove otherwise. His past work does not stand for his mental ability to run and decide for a country. Instead of his idea of “hope” and “change”, his presidency has brought the United States to the brink of ruin.…

The great minds of PBS documentary workers made the film Divided States of America and published it on TV for viewers to watch January 16 and 17 in 2017. This documentary covers a drastic period of time in America, from the rise of Obama to the rise of Trump. It gives very detailed information about Obama’s time in office and what went his way, and what didn’t go his way. The events Obama faces in this documentary are breathtaking, frankly I barely even knew of any the events that he had to face and the mountains he had to climb to remain president of our country for eight strong years. I agree with practically everything Obama had put into effect or resolved, especially being the first African American president of the United States.…

At the time, Senator Barack Obama, currently now the president of the United States delivered his speech called “ A More Perfect Union” on March 18, 2008 during the 2008 presidential race. In his speech, Obama addresses the controversial comments made by his former pastor Jeremiah Wright, but he also gives wise comments about the matter of race in America. We all know that race is a touchy subject, but Obama is able to freely converse about it so all Americans could relate to the topic. Obama not only used each appeal effectively alone, but they also combined together to make his argument stronger to oscillate the audience.…
