How Did Anne Frank Contribute To History

Anne Frank is really well known for her Biography, Diary of a Young Girl, and the hardships that she faced while hiding from the Nazi, and this book contributed to history in many, many, ways. First of all, her story gave many people insight of how hard it was to be hiding from the Nazi, especially as a girl as young as her. You see, for most people, when they hear about Jews going into hiding, they just think ‘oh well, that must have been hard,’ and forget all about it, going on with their lives as normal. But once you hear of Anne Frank’s story, you begin to truly empathize those who had to struggle with these horrible times. She not only felt that hope, but she held onto it, as if she was on the Titanic and hope was her life jacket. She held onto hope as if she was on a roller coaster and hope was her seatbelt. And I believe that this hope motivated many people. Because I know for a fact that there is no such thing as a perfect life, and sometimes, life sucks. Maybe you flunked an algebra quiz, and now you have a ‘D’ in that class. Or maybe you broke your leg during soccer practice, and now your team lost the championship because they lost their goalie.
