"It's difficult in times like these: ideals, dreams and cherished hopes rise within us, only to be crushed by grim reality,” (Anne Frank). This quote was quoted by a young thirteen year old in her diary about the houlocaust and her experiences. That quote came from the mind of Anne Frank, a kid learning life and making mistakes. Anne followed her passion to becoming a journalist by writing in her diary (Abramson, 2007, pg.83). Anne Frank used thinking and communicating with clarity and precision to innovate ways to overcome hiding away from the world, created a diary that changed views of the world, and illuminated the world by giving her thought about World War ll.

This diary became a piece of literature that talked about everything going on in the Secret Annex. It was a diary that talked about her opinions on World War II, “There's in people simply an urge to destroy, an urge to kill, to murder and rage, and until all mankind, without exception, undergoes a great change, wars will be waged, everything that has been built up, cultivated, and grown will be destroyed and disfigured, after which mankind will have to begin all over again.” ( From Anne Frank’s diary, as cited in “Anne Frank,” 2007) This diary was stood out so well because it consisted of opinions and the life of a young, jewish woman living during and being in the Holocaust. These thoughts appeared as a story of how the world was in conflict at that time, it changed many people's perspectives on what they just thought was World War
