Einstein was a keen young boy growing up in Germany; he excelled in all of his early classes. Growing up, he thrived on classical music and had an enjoyment on playing the violin. The other was at the age of 12, where he discovered his love for geometry. In 1889, the Einstein family became the host to a Polish exchange student, Max Talmud, who was a poor medical student. Every Thursday evening, Talmud came over, and tutored Albert, introducing him to higher levels of math and philosophy. One of the books that Talmud, introduced Albert to was a book where the author imagined riding alongside an electric current traveling on a telegraph wire. Albert pondered what it would be like to travel alongside a beam of light. This led him to write a paper at the age of 16, entitled “The Investigation of the State of Aether in Magnetic Fields." The question of relative speed to someone and the observer moving with light would dominate his thinking for 10 years. In 1894, his father and uncle’s company failed to get a contract in Munich, which would let them give power to the city. Albert’s father was forced to move the
