The police capturing Al Capone someone found him. Al Capone was arrested on October 6, 1931. Capone avoided prosecution until one agent created a plan which resulted into his arrest. This effected criminals, police, and the people. It changed the people of New York and Chicago because now they wouldn't have to worry about a criminal out on the streets. The victims finally got justice and the police accomplished something they thought they could never do. This moment triggered the end of the gang he was in called Torrio's James Street Boys. We are still talking about this historical event because it was such a clever way to put him in jail. We will always remember the capture of one of the greatest gangsters in history.
