Along with the technologies development, people are more reliable on it. In the article "Replaced By A Robot", Loftus states that computer will soon replace human being. Nowadays, people can easily get information, contract friend and relative easily from internet. There are many social networking like Facebook, twitter and google plus. In today society, we rarely talked to our family and friend in person. Social media effecting our life negatively, people are cyber bullying and reducing our communication, creativity skills. Recently, some people using different form of social network to cyber bullying others. Cyber bullying is a serious problem and might cause depression and suicidal. In fact, social media is affecting people’s creativity skills because people can find the answer easily without thinking from Internet. College students are using social media to take advantage for their homework or exam. Many college educator using Turnitin.com to be a tool to supervise student’s work because students are plagiarism on their essay or research paper with a high rate. It is always unfair if someone get a higher grade by using technology while the other people are struggling for their grade. Another example, last week in my math class, we have an exam I saw one of my classmate take out his phone and take picture of the exam then send it to his friend to solve the problem for him. Teacher did not know that and let him pass the exam; However, I studied hard and I fail my exam. Social media is a good way to get know or understand each other better but is bad to use it to cheat on school work. Social media has both positive and negative effects.
