There were 14 children to 2 adults, which is a 1:7 ratio. This falls below the maximum amount allowed by the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014. The CCEYA limits 8 children to one teacher with a maximum of 16 children in a classroom (Ministry of Education, 2014). This ratio is a quality indicator for the program as they are not only following the guidelines provided by the government but they are not maxing out the guidelines. This program showed respect for the importance of early learning and care.
