How Compass Has Changed Over Time

Great Essays
Although the design of a compass has changed over time it has always had the same four needles including North, East, South, and West. The first compass was simply a magnetized needle attached to a piece of wood or cork like thing. The middle card in the middle shows the directions. As the needle would settle, the marked end would point toward magnetic north. My fellow students, my teachers, and the faculty of Brookwood High School; today is a day that we have waited four long years for. Today is the day that we grow up and end our crossing over the bridge into adulthood, which in the context of our lives, is high school. For some of us, the bridge was short and sweet; these people ran over it like a child would run across the bridge over a creek while playing tag with a friend. For some of us, the bridge was bland and boring; like a grey cobblestone bridge over a flowing river. For some of us, the bridge was long and seemingly endless; like a long red bridge connecting two cities over the currents of the ocean.…

Rapping at the age of twelve, Cole’s love and passion for creating music has spurred him to become the harbinger of rap music in today’s society. Living with only his older brother, Zachary, his mother, and only the image…
