How Chromium Is A Transition Metal

Chromium is a transitional metal. It is a stiff, silvery metal that when polished can have a mirror shine. Most of the chromium is found South Africa, India, Kazakhstan and Turkey as chromite. Some uses for chromium are to harden steel and make stainless steel. Chromium can be used for coloring, and chromium makes rubies red.
