Through school they can develop skills such as: teamwork and resilience. These two skills are necessary in the work force because in any type of job you are bound to work with all types of people and at the same time encountering problems which will help to have a never give up attitude. It is good to learn these types of skills when young since all children can be regarded as learning sponges soaking up all information that will always be remembered later on in life. And the last but not least third factor which is stability is a factor that may seem minor but necessary. It is important for a child growing up to be in a healthy stable environment. If a child has to encounter in-house fighting or is constantly displaced it may have an effect on their psyche. Personally I have gone through numerous events that have caused me to be the person I am today. There were three stand-out situations and I will discuss each of them. Growing up my parents took the more traditional route and made me attend catholic school. I have rather enjoyed my time attending catholic school but what I did not enjoy was the constant moving of schools. I have attended two different middle and high schools and the constant struggle of starting over and meeting new people each time was daunting. But the one good thing through that experience was that I was able to better adapt to different situations so it did serve some sort of purpose. Another experience that helped me grow was encountering someone who disliked me for the first time and this shocked me as a young child because I did not know much about the world and I thought everyone was nice. Through this experience it made me realize that not everyone is going to like you and sometimes not because of a legitimate reason but just because they can. My last and final turning point was disappointing my parents due to a fabrication on my side. I can still remember my disappointed parents’ faces when they found out I lied and from that moment I vowed to try and make my parents proud and not dissatisfied. Through all of these experiences I have learned valuable lessons and I will continue to do so to
