How Characters Changed

Characters in really any novel change and develop. Josh is definitely not an exception, he has changed a lot.
Josh doesn't want a stepfather but he got one. He finds him very annoying and irritating. When Josh’s mom has to go take care of Josh’s grandfather he is stuck with Clay for a week. Clay is very clumsy and always makes a mess, he paints, Josh just calls them blobs but people actually buy them. Clay feels the need to have Josh put in a basketball camp so he can have peace and quiet while he paints. As a result he is put in a basketball camp.
Josh is just an ordinary teen that know how to play basketball and hates his stepfather. One day he was walking home from camp trying not to think on how bad he failed in the last game. Some random dude just gives him a box and says “Take this!” (Polak 67). Josh followed him into the apartment and realized he was a mover. But since he was having a bad day he wanted to fill his urges and hide in the closet and observe the new people like previously a few days ago he observed his new neighbors. He ends up getting caught

He hears Patys come down stairs to help his mom and so he hides in the cleaning supply closet, he was tired and without knowing he fell asleep. “I must’ve dozed off, because when I woke up, I had a crick in my neck.” (Polak 101). He heard some ruckus and a voice of a man saying cooperate and you won't get hurt. After a little while he decided to grab a metal bucket and while the invader was distracted he hit him and he fainted. Patsy’s father called the police and they escorted the home invader to jail. Afterwards he told Patsy why he was there and she didn’t get freaked out and they actually started dating. But she did question him sometimes.
Josh, who was once just a regular kid that liked basketball and was good at it, a quiet person at the beginning of the novel, is now low-key home invader and isn't afraid of being caught anymore he just does what he
