How Character Changes In Hamlet

Many characters change throughout a story, like Hamlet, who changes throughout the story and is also easily influenced by other characters in the story "Hamlet" by William Shakespeare. Hamlet has a terrible decision on whether to listen to his fathers ghost and kill his uncle or not believe the ghost. Hamlet is unsure whether or not to listen to the ghost and ultimately delays killing his uncle. Hamlet experiences a terrible event with his fathers killing and that ultimately changed him for the worse and ends the play poorly. Throughout the story Hamlet is quite emotional and even suicidal at times. Hamlet shows some of his sadness while crying “No, nor the fruitful river in the eye” (1.2.83) Hamlet, at this time is incredibly sad and not thinking clearly. Hamlet believes his father and stages a play in which it would capture Claudius’ guilt in killing his father. This play idea that King Hamlet reported to Hamlet worked. Hamlet would not have thought to create a play on his own and only got the idea from a visit from his deceased father. After that play, Hamlet started thinking of many ways to seek revenge against Claudius, but Hamlet could not murder his uncle and kept delaying it. Hamlet is a play about a trade by of revenge. Many characters in the play change throughout the story but none more than Hamlet. Hamlet deals with a terrible tragedy with his dads death and that changed him. He also listens to the ghost and goes through with killing his uncle but that ended up being a bad decision.
