How Chameleons And Their Ability To Change Color

As the article addresses the scientific name for a chameleon is a Chamaeleonidae, they also have a very strange behavior, a physical description unlike no other and also have a very scarce diet. The chameleons are a master at camouflage, they can change their colors in 20 seconds. Most can change from green, black and brown, but some can change from blue, yellow, green, pink, red, orange and even purple. They sometimes change to the color of their food. Likewise most chameleons are omnivores, they eat insects, worms, snails, berries, and leaves. The chameleon is very different from other reptiles with its ability to change color and the way they disguise themselves to hide from pray.
