I was excited to see my sister after not seeing her for more than two years. I was waiting outside my apartment, in my black, sleeveless dress that barely went past my knees, for about ten minutes before the dimbox pulled up in front of me. All the while many traditional folks gave me some dirty looks for showing off my gam. When I entered the taxicab, Ellie was wearing a full length dress in which I could only see her hands and her face, we hadn 't been talking for more than five minutes before she started preaching. I groggily get out of bed and change into my work clothes. I looked at the clock and I rushed to make myself breakfast and get ready for work. My shift starts at 10 am and it was already almost 9:30. I work as a waitress at a small restaurant just across the street from where I live. I run out the door and sprint across the street, just barely making it there in time. My line of work isn 't very eventful, and today was no different, I walked out of the restaurant exhausted nonetheless. As I enter my apartment I look at the clock and it said 9:35, I change out of my uncomfortable work clothes and into my usual attire. I exit my apartment building and briskly walk down to the "café", after the day I had I was in need of a drink. As always I enter the flower shop, walk down the stairs, count the brick, knock on the thirteenth brick, door opens up, I enter. As I walk by the gangster I see Leroy already sitting at the bar, I excitedly skip up next to him and say hello. His eyes light up as he turns around to look at me. "Clara, you made it!" He beamed as he looked at me. "I had to work late tonight, sorry if I kept you waiting." I shyly replied.
