3. Describe the needs present in Maslow’s hierarchy.
People have a number of needs which require a set level of satisfaction in order to be happy or fulfilled as a person. When an unsatisfied need reaches to the surface of their unconsciousness and perhaps consciousness then these motivate one’s behavior. The needs of people are arranged in a hierarchy of prepotency, as each level is fulfilled then the lower level is demanding attention. The hierarchy of needs consist of: physiological needs, safety and security, social or belongingness, self-worth and esteem needs, and self-actualization.
