In the article, she discussed the recent suicide of a Massachusetts teenager due to cyber-bullying. In the article she also urges readers to reach out and share their experiences with cyber-bullying and ways that they have combated social media drama and bullying. She also provides the readers with a host of ways to block social media drama and hate. It was after this article that Seventeen Magazine launched their campaign to end social media titled “Delete Digital Drama”. One of the things that piqued my interest about the article was, did the readers ever comment back? I wasn’t able to find another article featuring the reader’s feedback. I felt like if there was an article about the experiences the readers have gone through with social media drama and bullying or if the author of the article’s advice helped them in any way that would have been able to express if the article was at all helpful in getting its point across. Also, if there would have been an article about the readers’ experiences , maybe that would help other readers feel like they aren’t alone in experiencing cyber-bullying. I definitely think this was a great strategy to help get people aware and spread the word about the fight to end cyber-bullying and what cyber-bullying actually is. By seeing their favorite stars or favorite character’s on a television show contest cyber-bullying and talk about how detrimental it can be, younger adults and kids really take heed to what those people say. Also, if one of the people who attended the convention was a bully themselves, maybe seeing their favorite t.v. actor or actress say how “uncool” bullying is would give them the urge to stop bullying others
