Every student probably has a problem with choosing a major. Also, there are multiple of majors, which will get them confused which major they will choose. Students have to know they need to pick a field that they like or feel it is going to correspond with their skills. Business is an important major in the world, and it is identified as a critical resource for countries. As explained in an article published by Africa News Service “If business can do the heavy-lifting of creating jobs and wealth, societies can be transformed and people can lift themselves out of poverty.” Moreover, the more the students work in this area, the more it develop their skills. Moreover, every student will be require to do a group project in the course of stat, which it creating an unreal company that match the descriptions of the real company. Also, the students should show how the company works to make a profit, create advertisements to target the consumers, and make relationships with other companies. This major deal with accounting and mathematics, so it is very interesting if students love math and enjoy solving complicated things. Also, this major demands good communication skills because this feature is important for business students. Also, they have should have some background about business because it is good to have an extensive experience, for example, know how companies were dealing with the work in the …show more content…
The large number of students in this major, which are there around 3 to 5 thousand business student in MTSU and that will creates a lot of challenges between them and this helps them develop their skills. Usually, business students have to be prepared for the work place to be professionals at business. For example, if the student was perfect at his/her work absolutely he/she will get a good salary and promotion. Also, they have to get a good GPA and manners and that will be as a computation between them because it is the key for the success.
