People face certain challenges in their life that test who they are. Whether it is being cut from a sport they love, having a massive amount of duties all at once, or going through a slump can determine what a person will do to fight through and find the goodness in life. Bullying can be on the list of trials that individuals face. According to Camping Magazine, about 77 percent of students have admitted to being the victim of bullying in one form or another. Every human being is different at handling situations, however giving students the option of standing up for themselves can have positive outcomes. Stopbullying.gov defines bullying as an unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Bullying is a problem that affects schools/students nationwide on both sides of the spectrum.
