Personally, I agree with Jon Katz’s analysis on how boys are brought up. Although I will never know how boys/men truly think, I have a better understanding of it, after reading the text. I also agree that they lack "sensitivity" (19). I don’t think that it’s a man’s fault for lacking sensitivity, I believe that depending on the way you were brought up, your mind set differs. Some boys are very intact with their emotions, while others have a hard time showing empathy. I think that Jon Katz accurately described the reasoning behind men’s behavior. According to Katz, men sometimes learn such new kinds of behavior that are different from their younger self.
