How Birth Order Affects Middle Children

Most middle children have strong leadership traits, 52% of our Presidents have been middle children. Middle children often feel left out, lonely, and feel like they have no one to help them through hard times. Birth order affects all the children, but it affects the middle child the most. Middle children usually don't get as much attention as the oldest and youngest child. All children should get treated the same, but the middle child usually does not and that is what causes middle child syndrome. Birth order affects the middle child because it affects the personality of the middle child, the middle child does not get much attention,and it affects their self-esteem.

Parents often give the least attention to the middle child.
