How Baseball Changed My Life

When I was 10 years old I hit my very first home run in baseball. Baseball is certainly a very important aspect of my life, and I play it year round. I spend most of my time playing baseball because I love it and it keeps me in shape. Excitement took over when I saw my whole team standing around home plate, my heart was pounding so hard when I touched home plate. Then I realized I had just hit my first home run. As my coach came to congratulate me the first thing I asked him was “Did you find my ball?”, he pulled his hand out slowly revealing my first home run ball. I wanted to hold it forever as I was overwhelmed with joy and excitement. After the game was over I got my ball and put it on the top of my shelf. From that day on my first home
