Have you ever had a process of writing that you follow all the time? “So, You Want To Be A Writer? Here’s How” by Allegra Goodman talks about writing and the tips that she gives you in order to be a successful writer in the near future. The tips that she gives you in the story helped her become successful because she is telling the reader that if you want to be a successful writer you need to have a process of writing that you can stick and work with it. A process of writing that you should use is complete your writing assignment in phases, work on the assignment out of order and making sure to take breaks in between writing your assignment. One example about the writing process is that when working on your essay assignment you should work on it in phases. Working on your paper in phases means that you first plan out your paper by brainstorming the assignment and working on an outline for it. Then you write it out by creating a rough draft for the assignment and after you create the rough draft for your assignment, you or someone else will look over the rough draft to make sure the paper makes sense and putting corrections on it. Finally you complete the assignment by writing a final draft of your essay assignment with the corrections that are on the rough draft.
