Organizational strategy is a plan to accomplish organizational mission and goals. Organizational structure is the employees, procedures, and technology that comprise the organization. Structure must be aligned with strategy in order for the organization to achieve its goals or objectives. There is no structure if there is no goal.
When a strategy gets implement, structure is then developed or created to provide the necessary support. Bolman and Deal (2009) stated that strategy fail when it rely on structure. When strategy fails, structure will surely follow. It is without a doubt to suggest that strategy drives organizational structure.
