were inside. I led the way clearing the store with my ax. In the storeroom was a zed that looked like he had been living there before turning. Bashing them is harder when there’s no room for maneuver but he went down finally. Yuri started working on the big door to the loading ramp and the others followed me back inside. The shopping crew grabbed carts and I started pointing.

Somewhere along the line we quit looking at sizes and just started grabbing all the jeans, all the shirts and all the coats. In the back was more cold weather clothing still boxed up. Ronnie radioed contact and Yuri went out to deal with it. He was back shortly with gunk on his pipe. Stacking stuff in the truck was the bottleneck. My shopping cart was wheeling loads of firearms and ammunition. Everyone would have either a .22 rifle or handgun and a few would have both. Mostly the only magazines were the ones in the weapons.

Mel and Rhonda dropped both of them. The bodies were dragged down the hall as we went into the open kitchen and cleared it. Some of the food had been used however a lot remained. The dead were coming down the hall as we started carrying goods toward the truck. The shooting didn’t start until our fourth trip out. Yuri motioned me toward the firing and I jogged down the hall. As the guys went in and out an occasional shot could be heard outside. An hour later Yuri called last load. Few of the dead looked chewed on and gave the impression they just all died and came back. Following recent events (involving multiple mass shootings and attacks) many people think that the laws on guns in the United States of America need to be much tighter. I am one of these people. This document serves to explain some of the holes in the American legal system. While my foremost problem is not with guns themselves, it is a fact that they are, in the first place, an inherent danger and owning them, in the first instance, causes more trouble than they’re worth.…
