House On Mango Street Monologue

On a casual morning where puffs of clouds laid across the blue saturated skies in Salerno Italy, a mandolin was playing live, matching the rhythm of the snare pops and door bells. Mail being tossed on the steps, played on beat with music as if the mail clapping the was percussion from the castanets. The busy people of this small city where bass, placing one foot after there other on beat of the clear music, on there way to the beaches, shopping stores, and there neighbors house. Valentina was weirded out by the the sign but more weirded out by how his cup was empty. Valentina looked at her mom thinking she would stop but she walking right past him into the restaurant. And she was to scared to tell her to stop because she felt more awkward then anything being at a young age. As they walked in her Mom lead her into the restaurant with a grin on her face the meant with the nice ,chubby, and bearded man Giovanni who dressed well too. After talking for an hour, Valentina was instructed to get started on the project right way in the back loft. Although Giovanni liked her painting of the restaurant it would be weird to just put a picture of the restaurant in the restaurant so he wanted to give her the freedom to draw anything, just nothing to abstract.
