Several books have been written in this world throughout time ranging from two thousand B.C. on clay tablets to today where they can be read off of pieces of technology. Throughout all of these books, there are different genres including fiction, drama, horror, mystery, et cetera. Some of the authors that wrote these stories become famous from a novel they wrote and tend to linger to the same genre. An example of one of these authors is Edgar Allan Poe. Poe, an american author, wrote several gothic and bleak stories, including death and sadness. Edgar Allan Poe’s short story “The Fall of the House of Usher” contains Gothic elements and a mysterious setting; he also compares Roderick Usher to the house.
